Figure Museum W, Korea’s Biggest Action Figure and Vinyl Toy Museum

Filled to the brim with action figures and vinyl toys, The Figure Museum W is the biggest museum of its kind in Korea. Explore the 5th and 6th floor, as they have a variety of themes for each section. On the 4th floor, you can find many famous Japanese cartoon and anime characters from the 60’s to the 90’s. Korean actor, Jo Min-ki, has agreed to put his Atom figure collection on display at the museum as well! If you’re a Marvel fan, then the 3rd floor will have everything you are looking for. From Superman to Captain American to Ironman, the Marvel figures range from being 10cm to impressive life-sized models. You won’t want to leave without picking something up for yourself, so head to the gift shop on the 2nd floor before calling it a day. Museum visitors are also welcome to have fun with the large selection of boardgames and legos in the basement (for free)!

Hallyu K-Star Road

K-pop fans should not miss out on the Hallyu K-Star Road. Stretching from Apgujeong Rodeo until Garosu-gil, you can find your favorite Gangamdols! All of the big entertainment companies like SM, JYP, CUBE and FNC, participated in this project. Named by combining the words Gangnam and Idol together, Gangnamdol’s are Bearbrick-inspired figures decorated in the style of many popular k-pop groups and idols. Don’t forget to take a picture for Instagram!

Vintage Bonnie, a Colorful Vintage Wonderland

In the up and coming area of Ikseon-dong, Vintage Bonnie is a colorful vintage wonderland. Easily recognizable by the neon flamingo sign in the window, this adorable boutique sells original antiques and vintage goodies from the 1920’s to the 1980’s. You can expect to find a rainbow of lovely clothes, purses, mugs, homeware and even a collection of Trolls, Cabbage Patch Kids and My Little Ponies! Don't miss the feminine vintage dresses from the 70's and 80's, as well as the lovely kitchenware and coffee sets from the 50's.

Cafe Sikmul, the Cute Corner's of Ikseon-dong

Ikseon-dong is a beautiful clash between traditional Korean styles and modern trends. With young entrepreneurs and artists moving in to the area, the oldest hanok village in Seoul has been born again. Two young writers opened one of Ikseon-dong's most popular spots: Sikmul. The exterior appears to be a hanok, but once you step in, you will equally fall in love with the quirky decor and relaxing atmosphere.

Get and Show, a Lego paradise for adults

If you’re looking to revisit your childhood, and let your creativity loose, it’s time to make a trip to the Get and Show café! Hard to miss, as a giant Lego figure greets you at the door, this café is lined with building blocks merchandise, including impressive Lego castles and houses. At Get and Show, you can rent Lego sets to build, while you sip on a drink of your choice. They also typically give a free little Lego-shaped chocolate with your order! Furthermore, they have second-hand Lego kits for sale, at 40% off the original price, despite being in perfect condition. Break your monotonous routine, and visit Get and Show to meet up with friends or go on a date.
