【Introduction】:This month, Copenhagen‘s communications assistant, Josephine, recommends a new instagram gem, a special night of cultural events and Copenhagen s latest and rather unique dining experience.

Normann Copenhagen’s newly renovated design haven that will blow your socks off.

A place definitely worth a visit would be the Normann Copenhagen showroom and flagship store in Østerbro, which just underwent a complete redesign. To me, the store pulls you in with its exciting and bold universe that exudes contemporary Danish design. The 1700m2 old cinema has been transformed into an artistic universe that includes an all pink basement. Instagrammers will love this gem.

Halloween: Pumpkin carving, ghost hunting and pure fun at Tivoli Gardensand Visit Carlsberg.

If you like to celebrate the American holiday, Tivoli and Visit Carlsberg are without a doubt the places to do so! The old amusement park transforms into a spooky, pumpkin and ghost-infested garden that offers activities for kids of all ages, while the Carlsberg brewery offers spooky stories as well as a BBQ and beer. Try all the rides, carve pumpkins, get lost in the hay maze at Tivoli from October 14 – November 6 and try some delicious autumn-inspired food at Carlsberg on October 28, while enjoying a perfectly brewed beer. Cheers!

Parliament, Tivoli, Shops, museums and much more at once, at Culture night.

On Friday 14 October you will most likely find me out and about in the streets of Copenhagen, as the yearly event Culture Night will take place. Some places are free; some places require a pass. The pass is available for purchase at their website or at 7-Eleven. You have the exclusive option of visiting the parliament, supreme court, various museums after hours and all your favorite stores. The day also marks the beginning of the Danish autumn holiday. The week is packed with exciting activities – see our autumn holiday guide here.

Explore the great outdoors in Greater Copenhagen.

One of my all-time favourite spots, is the Deer Park. The Deer Park is located in Klampenborg north of Copenhagen, just a 20 min. train ride from Copenhagen Central Station. The place is enormous and includes a royal hunting lodge, the worlds oldest amusement park, Bakken, as well as amazing views of the ocean. If you fancy a walk along the ever color-changing trees, a run in serene surroundings or even a horse and carriage ride – this should be on your must-visit list.

(Tip: When you are already there, hop on the train to Louisiana or Kronborg Castlenorth of the park, or go for lunch in the posh Hellerup neighborhood close by).

Eat your heart out at Restaurant Honey.

Restaurant Honey just opened recently and is a pretty unique concept by the people behind Kadeau – one of the best restaurants in Copenhagen. During the day, Honey doubles as a cantina, but in the evening I’ll recommend you go there for their informal, modestly priced quality dining and of course their famous softice buffet with homemade toppings! Yum!
