Red Square

The name Red Square neither originates from the pigment of the surrounding bricks nor from the link between the color red and communism. Saint Basil’s Cathedral

Saint Basil’s Cathedral is a church in the Red Square in Moscow, built from 1555–61 on orders from Ivan the Terrible and commemorates a capture of Kazan and Astrakhan. As a world-famous landmark, it had been the city's tallest building until the completion of the Ivan the Great Bell Tower in 1600. The building is shaped as a flame of a bonfire rising into the sky, a design that has no analogues in Russian architecture.

Moscow Subway

Mayakovskaya is a Moscow Metro station which is considered one of the most famous subway stations in the world. The station features streamlined columns faced with stainless steel and pink rhodonite, white Ufaley and grey Diorite marble walls, a flooring pattern of white and pink marble, and 35 niches, one for each vault. Surrounded by filament lights there are a total of 34 ceiling mosaics designed by Alexander Deyneka.

Arbat Street is a pedestrian street about one kilometer long in the historical centre of Moscow, Russia. The Arbat has existed since at least the 15th century.
