The 160-kilometer-long tourist road through the valley of the Chishui River has been built, and it will become a world-famous quality tourist route.

On this road are a 160-kilometer-long mountain bike trail paved with red pitch, a 154-kilometer-long motorway made of black pitch, 23 observation decks, 12 rest stations, 26 campsites, 1 apron for helicopters, 162 bridges and 2 tunnels. Travelers can have a panoramic view of beautiful sceneries along the road either by bike or by car.

The road consists of a 154-kilometer-long main road lined with coral trees and a slow traffic system designed for bikers and pedestrians. The slow traffic system covers about 168 kilometers, complementing the Chishui River.

Besides, rest stations reflect local characteristic culture and can be used for catering, lodging, tourist consultation, bike rental, health emergency, supply and management. As a starting point of the tourist road, Maotai Station is equipped with a grand staircase which leads to the observation deck on the roof. There, travelers can smell the bouquet of Maotai and watch the panorama of Maotai Village. Located near Xiaoguanzi of Chishui City, Linzhou Station boasts natural stone forests, 100-year-old trees, small stone bridges, winding creeks and a stone tablet engraved with Chinese characters “qian zhong sheng fo”, thus providing an elegant environment for travelers. As the last station on the road, Fuxing Station lies in Fuxing Village of Chishui City. And it has an exhibition hall which displays cultures of cycling and slow traffic.
