【Introduction】：Since 1992, Jiaozuo’s Wenxian County, which is known as the birthplace of Taiji Quan (Tai Chi Chuan), has held an international Taiji Quan annual conference, so as to build a brand image as “the Land of Tai Chi,” promote the Taiji Quan culture...

Since 1992, Jiaozuo’s Wenxian County, which is known as the birthplace of Taiji Quan (Tai Chi Chuan), has held an international Taiji Quan annual conference, so as to build a brand image as “the Land of Tai Chi,” promote the Taiji Quan culture and strengthen the exchange among Taiji Quan lovers throughout the world. The event served as a bridge for international Taiji Quan exchange.

In 2000, the annual conference was held in Jiaozuo. Since then, the conference has been held every two years. In 2005, the Taiji Quan annual conference was renamed as “Jiaozuo International Taiji Quan Exchange Competition”.

To date, six sessions of the event have been successfully held. Thousands of Taiji Quan fans from more than 30 countries and regions have taken part in each session. It is a Taiji Quan competition that wins most international recognition.
