Cape Town is the second largest city in South Africa, and is one part of the Cape Town Metropolis. Cape Town is famous for its beautiful natural landscape and wharf, and its well-known landmarks include Table Mountain honored as “God’s dining table”, and Cape Hope as the intersection of Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean. It is situated in the on the north end of Cape of Good Hope, and contiguous to Table Bay of the Atlantic Ocean. Founded in 1652, it was originally the place for the supply station of the East India Company, and the earliest settlement point built by the Western European colonists in the southern Africa. So it was named “Mother City”, and served as the base for the Holland and UK colonists to realize the expansion in the African continent for a long time. Now it is the place for legislative authority.

With beautiful natural and geographic environment, Cape Town is honored as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, and has become one of the tourist resorts in South Africa. Cape Town has Cape Town International Airport as the second busiest airport in South Africa, and is one of the main channels for the international travellers to reach South Africa.
