In the morning of November 20 (local time), the New Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg was furnished with a huge poster of the Year of Chinese Tourism in Russia to welcome the Chinese delegation led by CNTA Chairman Shao Qiwei and their Russian counterparts coming for inspection of the preparation of the closing ceremony of “Year of Chinese Tourism” in Russia.

Both sides communicated on the preparation on the site. Chairman Shao extended appreciation for the painstaking efforts made by Russia and coordinated with Russian side about the details concerning the political part as well as stage design, program, electronic screen, tourism promotion, spectator organization and security of the performance part.

On behalf of the Russian side, Deputy Head Dmitry Mikhailovich Amunts of Russia Federal Agency for Tourism led the coordination and said they would give full support to the closing ceremony.
