Discover all you need to know about an island steeped in history, with Sicily: Culture and Conquest at the British Museum in London.

Examine more than 200 objects, as this major exhibition provides insight into Sicily’s vibrant past.

Learn all about two of the main eras of Sicily’s history, as you go back through more than 4,000 years on the island.

First, examine the Greeks’ impact when they arrived on the island in the latter half of the seventh century BC, and then, understand the incredible period of enlightenment under Norman Rule after 1100 AD.

The exhibition is open until August 14.
