One of the world's busiest and most hectic cities, London is not renowned as a place where you get to simply 'go with the flow' - but that's now an option for sightseers with the re-launch of the flexible London Explorer Pass.
The London Explorer Pass is a multi-attraction city sightseeing card that allows visitors to choose from 20 of the best sights and experiences in the city - and enjoy them at their own pace. Three-, five- or seven-attraction passes are offered, with pass holders having 30 days to complete their visits.
London Explorer Pass holders simply choose the attractions, tours and experiences that best suit their interests. And with no need to pre-book visiting times or confirm attractions in advance, they get to visit whenever they wish - leaving them free to make, break, adapt or re-think their plans at any point.
London Explorer Pass experiences include many of the city's iconic attractions, such as the Coca-Cola London Eye, St Paul's Cathedral, the Tower Bridge Exhibition, Madame Tussauds and a Wembley Stadium tour.
For the re-launch, nine newly-featured attractions have been added: a Chelsea FC Stadium Tour, Thames River Cruise 24 Hour Hop-On-Hop-Off Sightseeing Tour, the Cutty Sark, Hampton Court Palace, HMS Belfast, Kew Gardens, the Royal Observatory Greenwich, the Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition & Theatre Tour, and Westminster Abbey.
The London Explorer Pass also offers holders an opportunity to make significant savings on their sightseeing compared with the standard cost of entry to individual attractions. On a three-attraction pass, priced at £69 per adult, users could visit the London Dungeon (normally £30), Madame Tussauds (normally £35) and enjoy a one-day hop-on/hop-off bus tour (normally £35) - a saving of £31.
Fully mobile sightseeing
It is even possible for London Explorer Pass users to have all their sightseeing available via their smartphone, without the need to present a physical pass.
The new free London Explorer Pass app is available for iPhone and Android phones, with users simply inputting a code to download their mobile pass straight into the app. The mobile pass contains a barcode which is scanned to gain entry at the visitor's chosen London Explorer Pass attractions.
The app features an interactive digital guidebook with useful information about featured attractions, transport maps and even details on London public holidays and free wifi spots. It also unlocks a selection of special offers which are exclusive to London Explorer Pass holders.
The London Explorer Pass is operated by The Leisure Pass Group.
