Boulevard de la Corniche

Boulevard de la Corniche, a viewing road along the sea, is the most beautiful place of Casablanca. The most famous sights of Casablanca, Hassan II Mosque and Rick's Café, are not far away. There is a wide road on Boulevard de la Corniche. There is a wide boardwalk on the side that is closer to the sea where you can watch the blue Atlantic Ocean. Beneath the railings of the boardwalk is an area extending out to the sea, where you may see arrays of coffee shops, bars, swimming pools. At the edge of the south of Boulevard de la Corniche is a bend, where a locally famed cafe named Miami is located. This cafe stands on the tall causeway, with both of its sides being occupied by water. When sitting inside the open yard, what you see is nothing but an eye of the Atlantic Ocean without edges. The view is fascinating especially at night. A dense wood forest on the side of Boulevard de la Corniche covers the urban area is “Anfa”, an area where villas huddle, along with a racecourse and golf course. Each family here has their personal security guards, and outsiders are not allowed to enter without invitation. It is said that lots of international film stars and European and American celebrities have residences here.
