The area of Fuchunjiang River has been called “the lesser Three Gorges”. The litterateur Wu Jun in the Liang Dynasty has described the landscape of Fuchunjiang River in his famous work and highly praised the beauty of the river. Since the Fuchunjiang Hydropower Station in the low reach has been built, this area was flooded to be a reservoir that the flowing river is like a bright mirror. With the spreading hills along the river, it has become one of the “Eight Sceneries of Yanling”.
