【Introduction】：In April 2002, with approvial from the China General Administration of Sport and the 29th Olympic committee, Qinhuangdao government decided to build a seaside avenue and titled it as "Olympic Avenue " to carry forward the Olympic spirit.

In April 2002, with approvial from the China General Administration of Sport and the 29th Olympic committee, Qinhuangdao government decided to build a seaside avenue and titled it as "Olympic Avenue" to carry forward the Olympic spirit. In March 2004, Beidaihe District Committee and government decided to establish a park on the east-side of the avenue. The total coverage of the park is 15.58 square kilometers; it designed according to the concept of Green Olympics, High-tech Olympics, and People's Olympics. The park shows the history of Olympic Game through sculptures, reliefs, fountains, the hand and foot prints of champions and so on.
