Melbourne is very special for me, for each time I visit this city, I can forget about all my worries and what is left is to have fun, eat, and drink. I have accumulated lots of photos, which are scattered in my photo album, and now I have sorted them and gone back to relive my past memories.

Flingders Street Station, Yarra River

Walk along the Flingders Street Station beside the Yarra River toward the casino named Crown, you will arrive at the best spot to watch sunsets if the crimson sky appears. Blending in with the ancient and modern buildings, the crimson clouds will bring magic to the entire city.

Princess Pier

Princess Pier, built in 1912, was once a busy port. The local government still keeps the original timber piles of the port, aimed at commemorating the busy port of the past. These aged timber piles glow under the evening sky. And so, this place turns into a holy land for photographers and is the best place to watch sunsets.

Address: 2 Pier Street. Port Melbourne VIC 3207

Getting there: By tram: No. 109 (to Port Melbourne) from Collins Street, and get off at the terminal of Tram No. 109.

Skyhigh Mount Dandenong is located at the highest point of the Dandenong Ranges and is the best place to overlook Melbourne. The views are mesmerizing during the spring and autumn seasons. It is worth staying there for hours. The Dandenong Ranges is about 48 km away from the center of Melbourne. It takes about one hour to drive there. The Great Ocean Road

Located more than 100 km away from Melbourne, the Great Ocean Road is a coastal highway that stretches for 250 km and is very suitable for driving. The views along the highway are stunning and vary from season to season. Although I have been there 5-6 times, I have never gotten bored of the views during the different seasons. We can write an article to introduce the Great Ocean Road, and the theme of the article should focus on the sunset. The best spot to watch sunsets along the highway is Gibson Steps. It only takes 2 minutes to drive to the Twelve Apostles. If you plan to visit the Great Ocean Road, please don’t forget to watch the sunset.

Address: The Twelve Apostles

Getting there: Self-drive/group tour

I pursue the sunset assiduously,

To catch the beautiful views of dusk that appears each time.

Like our past experiences,

Each moment is worth memorizing,

Because the shade of light changes the scenery each and every moment,

Because it will never reappear, even in the same place.
