CYTS supports development of tourism industry in Xinjiang

【Introduction】:China CYTS Tours Holding (CYTS) and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Tourism Council (Xinjiang Tourism Bureau) jointly organized the Xinjiang Tourism Industry Development Training Seminar in Beijing.

Recently, China CYTS Tours Holding (CYTS) and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Tourism Council (Xinjiang Tourism Bureau) jointly organized the Xinjiang Tourism Industry Development Training Seminar in Beijing. Fifty tourism bureaus from counties around the city of Xinjiang participated in the training, which was a practical move of the CYTS travel assistance plan implementation in Xinjiang in 2014. Qin Yizhi, the first secretary of the China Youth League Central Committee, said: "CYTS’s travel assistance plan for Xinjiang not only promotes tourism development in Xinjiang and cultural exchanges between the various ethnic blend, but also finds a new space for the growth of CYTS. I hope to fully implement this plan in the near future, and especially make more effort on branding and personnel training."

In 2014, CYTS carried out a number of tasks and took practical actions to support the development of the Xinjiang tourism industry and carry out ideas put forward at the work conference of the youth league on assisting Xinjiang’s tourism development. The Xinjiang Tourism Bureau believes that a variety of training programs hosted before have broadened students’ horizons and changed their ideas, as well as enriched their knowledge and experiences, which will lay a solid foundation for further improvement of the tourism sector of Xinjiang and give impetus to the development of the local tourism industry.

The Xinjiang International Special Tourism Culture Festival, sponsored by CYTS and the Xinjiang Tourism Bureau, has been held for five sessions as of 2014. CYTS took the advantage of CYTS Alliance members units to promote the key project of the festival, called the "Thousands of People and Cars across the Taklimakan Desert" self-drive tour. In 2014, the special tourism festival was divided into two big teams, who went to Karamay, Tacheng, Yili and Jimsar, Qitai, Bole, Mulei and Turpan, by crossing the southern part of the impoverished counties and cities, making it a significant move in developing tourism of southern Xinjiang and improving local people’s livelihood. Specially designed tourism and culture festivals have made Xinjiang a must-see for travelers around the world, a paradise for outdoor sports and a heaven for driving enthusiasts. All these things have successfully pushed the tourism development of the region to a new level.

Li Jidong, Party secretary of the Xinjiang Tourism Bureau, said that as one of the leading brands in domestic travel market, CYTS’s assistance work in Xinjiang has been innovative, solid and effective. It has created new space for the tourism of Xinjiang, introduced new partnerships, and developed new cooperation between the local government and the tourism enterprise. .

To develop new tourist products to attract travelers, CYTS integrates its advantageous resources by, establishing the northwest distribution channel system, including integrating marketing and promotion in the inbound market and the domestic market, fully utilizing the "Silk Road and Economic Belt" policy to design new tourist products after making market research, and studying the Xinjiang tourism industry according to the demand for different customer groups.

Li Xia, director of the Xinjiang Tashi tourism bureau, said that establishing friendly ties with eastern first-rate tourism groups not only brings fresh ideas, but also gives confidence to elevate the local tourism industry to be a leader among other counterparts.

It is reported that CYTS will continue to provide assistance and support for the development of the Xinjiang tourism industry with intelligence inputs, exchange new information, conduct new product research and development, and carry out other practical actions through the platform of the Xinjiang Tourism Bureau in 2015. It will also make greater contributions to promoting local cultural tourism.
