The new edition is exquisitely made and comes in a big size as the Travel Weekly America Edition and Asia Edition. News resources can be seen shared among the three editions. The new edition has adopted a new freshness, breadth, depth and standpoint of its content, in spite of the hard balance requirements of the timeliness of news and content accuracy.

It offers opinions to readers in "How To" perspective and adds several new columns such as Marketing, Databank, Gamechanger, Technology, Career and Voices, in a bid to publicize its exclusive news reports and professional expert analysis. Daily updates from its online WeChat app allow readers to be updated to the latest industry news in a timely manner.

The initiative to revamp the edition received support from the publication's owner, Northstar Travel Group, whose president Robert G Sullivan attended the re-launching party in the two cities, along with Irene Chua, the publisher of Travel Weekly Asia. Robert G Sullivan announced at the Beijing party that Northstar Travel Group would be joining the WTCF (World Tourism Cities Federation), to officially become their 145th member. Yan Han, deputy secretary-general of the WTCF, gave his congratulations on Northstar's cooperation with them and hoped that win-win results could be reached between the two parties.

Set up in 2001, Travel Weekly China dedicated itself in seeking professionalism, facts and innovation for 15 years. It has provided higher-quality content from an international perspective since becoming a member of Northstar Travel Media in 2014.

Northstar Travel Media, headquartered in New Jersey of the United States, is a leading business information and marketing solutions provider serving in the travel and conference industries.
