In recent years, China has become one of the countries with the fastest growing sources of tourists arriving in Sweden. In 2015, Chinese tourists stayed in Sweden in total for 261,000 room nights, a growth of 28.5% compared to 2014. Pure and pleasant natural scenery, unique metropolis, and Swedish lifestyle have become the main factors for attracting tourists.

Li Chunmei, Chief Representative of Visit Sweden in China, said that, “We are so pleased to become a partner of Caissa Touristic to jointly promote the market development. Swedish tourism resources are different from traditional sightseeing; instead, we prefer the experience of the lifestyle in Northern Europe. We hope that by cooperating with Caissa Touristic in a strategic way, we can attract more Chinese tourists to visit Sweden and enrich their travel memory in Northern Europe by providing some new experience projects. ”

Caissa Touristic has developed a series of Northern European products for the cooperation. Departure places include Beijing and Shanghai. There are conventional tourism products involving four countries of Northern Europe and Britain and also “Light Experience of Sweden.” Parent-child travel themes include “Childhood Fun in Sweden; Light Experience of Sweden—13-day Exuberant Travel in Four Countries of Northern Europe includes cycling on Ven, sea fishing, recommended restaurants, and cooking by Le Guide Michelin, ice bars in Stockholm, etc.; during which tourists can experience local life in Sweden.”

As for parent-child travels, Caissa Touristic will arrange tourists to visit shops offering handcrafted candies in Sweden where parents and children can participate in DIY caramel candies workshops, visit elks up -close, and experience the original ecology of Sweden by picking fruits in orchards.

Chen Jie, Vice President of Caissa Touristic said that, “Northern Europe is attracting more and more Chinese tourists. The unique scenery of Sweden has made itself an important travel destination. We look forward to the cooperation with Visit Sweden. Because of the cooperation; the number of people traveling to Sweden via Caissa Touristic is expected to achieve a growth of at least 50% on a year-on-year basis. ”

The tourism products provided jointly by Visit Sweden and Caissa Touristic will choose flights of SAS bound for Scandinavian Peninsula. The brand new passenger cabins will provide Chinese tourists with more convenient and comfortable experience. As one of the founders of Star Alliance and by cooperating with other members of Star Alliance, the air routes of SAS can cover 187 countries and 1,175 destinations. It is estimated that in 2016, Caissa Touristic will organize groups of more than 10,000 tourists to go to Northern Europe under the cooperation with Visit Sweden and SAS.

Earlier this year, Sweden announced 10 newly increased visa centers in China which will facilitate applicants to apply for visas near their residences; resulting in better service for Chinese tourists. Early in April, Swedish visa centers in Chongqing, Xi’an, Hangzhou, Wuhan, and Chengdu have been opened to the public, and other visa centers in Nanjing, Shenyang, Kunming, Changsha, etc., will go into operation soon.

Visa services provided by Caissa Touristic have long been recognized. Currently, it has mature visa offices in eight important cities in China. Its visa service has covered all the domestic visa port cities. Owing to its richness in Sweden-related products and reliability of visa service, Caissa Touristic has been provided a visa green channel by Sweden, which provides more convenience for the cooperation.
