American Express Plans Live Audio Webcasts of the Second Quarter 2016 Earnings and Fixed Income Investor Conference Calls

【Introduction】：American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) plans to host a live audio webcast of its earnings conference call at 5:00 p m (ET) on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 to discuss second quarter 2016 financial results

NEW YORK, June 27, 2016 -- American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) plans to host a live audio webcast of its earnings conference call at 5:00 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 to discuss second quarter 2016 financial results. The Company's financial results are scheduled to be announced shortly after the market closes that day.

The Company also plans to host a live audio webcast of its fixed income investor conference call at 4:30 p.m. (ET) on Thursday, July 21, 2016. During the call David Yowan, Executive Vice President and Corporate Treasurer, will provide a capital and funding management update.

Both of the live audio webcasts will be accessible to the general public through the American Express Investor Relations website at http://ir.americanexpress.com. Presentation materials will be posted on the website prior to each event, and an audio replay will be available on the website following each event.
