All-for-one tourism has been further promoted and public service facilities of Tianjin have been continuously optimized, therefore, the tourist environment has been greatly changed and the popularity and attraction of Tianjin have been obviously enhanced. At present, Tianjin is gradually becoming one of the preferred destinations of tourists. During "May Day" holiday, tourists rushed into Tianjin from all directions that some attractions were overwhelmed for a time.

The municipal government paid high attention to holiday tourism and issued in advance the "List" of tourism activities. Over 20 tourism activities like "Jinghai Taste - Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cultural Tourism Food Festival" and "2018 Binhai New Area International Kite Festival" were organized to highlight holiday tourism. According to data statistics, total 2.5488 million tourists visited Tianjin during the three-day holiday with year-on-year growth of 6.08%; total tourism income was RMB￥1.211 with year-on-year growth of 8.03%.
