【Introduction】:"Enjoy The China Open, Visit Beijing" was successfully launched at Roland Garros, homecourt of the 2015 French Open.

"Enjoy The China Open, Visit Beijing", a high-end customized tour product co-initiated by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, China Open Promotion Company, CYTS, and China Harmony Travel Agency, was launched at Roland Garros, homecourt of the 2015 French Open.

It is a new initiative by the commission to promote Beijing's tourism resources through synergizing high-end customized tour products with a top-level sports event-making it a win-win situation and doubled achievement.

"Enjoy The China Open, Visit Beijing" was held at Roland Garros court on the morning of May 30. The launch ceremony of this tour product was attended by tourism industry representatives from China and France. The Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development delegation, led by Mr. Zhao Guangchao, introduced the "Enjoy The China Open, Visit Beijing" product to local media and travel agencies. Authorities from the Chinese Embassy in France, France Office of the National Tourism Administration, French Tennis Federation, and Paris Tourism Office were all in attendance at the event.

The Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development (The Commission for short) has produced a variety of brochures, folders and promotional films, with a view to present an image Beijing to regional sales people and media in the form of various presentations. The Commission also issued fifty thousand copies of promotional material to spectators at the French Open, and received great praise from both the French Open Organizing Committee and the events spectators. Li Shaoping, Cultural Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Paris, Xue Guifeng, Director of China National Tourism Administration in Paris Office, as well as Zhao Guangchao, Committee Member of Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development presented Beijing tourism resources one by one at the press conference, and engaged in sound communications with local travel agencies and media regarding the "Enjoy the China Open, Visit Beijing" activity. In addition to this, the High-end Tourism Office of the Commission specifically introduced tour packages and CYTS products, in addition to China Supreme Harmony Travel Service and broadcast the promotional film of Beijing Tourism.

French representatives including Jeremy Burton, Vice President of France Tennis Federation, Patricia Barthelemy, Marketing Director of Leisure Travel of Paris Bureau of Tourism Congress delivered speeches respectively. Jeremy Burton accepted interviews from journalists at visitbeijing.com.cn. "Promoting Beijing tourism via the China Open is a great means of promotion and I do hope our historical French tennis tournament will be involved in further cooperation with the China Open," he said.

Prior to the conference, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development promoted an online interactive activity on overseas social media. A lucky participant was selected randomly to be invited to enjoy the China Open in Beijing this October. A German tourist named Timo who was chosen via a live draw. Sania Mirza, an Indian tennis player and former Champion of the China Open Women's Doubles who ranks first in the World's Women's Doubles, was present at the press conference, awarding round-trip tickets and the ticket for the China Open to lucky Timo. Sania Mirza, together with Timo, invited French fans to enjoy the China Open and visit Beijing.

During the conference, CCTV Sports Channel conducted an on-site interview, which was reported at Morning News and Noon News at CCTV-5 on May 31.

Prior to the conference, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development and its delegates visited Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Paris Office of China National Tourism Administration separately and engaged in an in-depth discussion on further cooperation.
