The direct air route from Hangzhou to Copenhagen is expected to be launched on Sept 3, according to officials of the Beijing Capital Airlines.
Air China also opened an air route from Hangzhou to Bangkok starting June 12, with a frequency of three round-trip flights every week. Flights depart from Hangzhou at 10:40 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and arrive at Bangkok at 2:10 am local time the next day. The return flights depart from Bangkok at 3:20 am local time and arrive at Hangzhou at 8:20 am Beijing time the same day.
Six airlines in China have opened flights from Hangzhou to Bangkok. They are Xiamen Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Air Asia, Spring Airlines, Dragonair and Air China. There are 36 flights on the Hangzhou-Bangkok route so far.
Intercontinental routes in Hangzhou
The Hangzhou-Paris air route was opened in autumn of 2014 and it was conducted by Hainan Airlines. The flights depart from Hangzhou at 8:10 pm and arrive at France's largest airport Paris Charles de Gaulle at 6:55 am local time. The return flights depart from the airport at 2:25 pm local time and arrive at Hangzhou at 11:30 am the next day.
The A330-220 type aircrafts operate on the Hangzhou-Paris route. Business-class seats can be adjusted to be flat for passengers to lie down while having a gentle massage.
Air route from Hangzhou to Moscow was launched in summer of 2014, and it was conducted by Orenburg Airlines. Boeing 777 type aircrafts operate on the route, with a frequency of one flight every week. Flights depart from Hangzhou at 12:30 am and arrive at Moscow at 10:30 pm local time the same day. The return flights depart from Moscow at 10:00 am local time and arrive at Hangzhou at 10:00 pm the same day.
Air route from Hangzhou to Amsterdam was opened in 2010, and it was conducted by Air Holland. Flights depart from Hangzhou at 12:40 am of Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and arrive at Holland at Amsterdam at 6:25 pm local time the same day. The return flights depart from Amsterdam at 5:20 pm local time of Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, and arrive at Hangzhou at 9:55 am the next day.
The Hangzhou International Airport will open regular flights from Hangzhou to Amsterdam. The airport will launch its first international air route from Hangzhou to Los Angeles, which is expected to open by the end of 2015.
East Railway Station opens shuttle bus to Shanghai during holidays
With the approaching of tourist high season starting June, increasingly more tourists choose to visit Hangzhou at weekends. Since June 7, shuttle buses are available at East Railway Station for tourists to go back to Shanghai in the afternoon on Sundays.
"Door to Door" through train service in Hangzhou
"Door to Door" through train services have been available for class lines from Hangzhou to the city of Jinhua.
The services will be for all the lines in Jinhua City’s Yongkang, Wuyi, Lanxi, Pan'an, Dongyang Hengdian, and Yiwu.
