At a speech made at the seminar, Mr. Bao Jian said that as a famous tourist city in China, Sanya stands at the forefront of tourism and cultural exchange between China and India. Tourism resources in Sanya and India vary greatly, which creates great conditions for bilateral tourism cooperation between the two sides.

In recent years, the Sanya government has been working to construct four-hour, 8-hour, and 12-hour flight tourism circles connecting the city to key tourist source markets in Asia and Europe. As one of the countries along the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic Corridor, India is an important tourist source market. The tourism and economic development of Sanya will be further boosted by promoting exchange and communication with India.
