The Famous "Grand Copper Pot" of Binhai New Area Is Estimated to Open on Oct. 1st.

By now, "two halls, two centers and one gallery" of Binhai Cultural Center have been open to the public. Recently, it is learned from Binhai Cultural Center that the last "hall" -- Binhai Science and Technology Museum, a.k.a. the famous "Grand Copper Pot", is estimated to open to the public during the "National Day" holiday in October. At present, the museum is urgent on layout design.

It is understood that the predecessor of the location of Binhai Science and Technology Museum was Yongli Soda Plant. The museum architecture is designed by the world famous architect and designer Bernard Tschumi. Strong post-industrial style manifests our commemoration to the history of Binhai, Tianjin. The museum has been famous online because it is similar in appearance of a "grand cooper pot".

After the layout is finished, the total exhibition area of the museum will be nearly 17,000 sq.m. With the unique appearance and relying on modern advanced science, technology and methods, a scientific world integrated with scientificity, advancement, peculiarity and interestingness will be shown to the whole world.
