St. Petersburg Fan Fest One of the Best

The Russian accommodation booking service Tvil.ru has made a rating of the best fan zones of the World Cup, based social media polls.

According to a poll, host cities of the World Cup 2018 with the best fan zones are Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Sochi, Volgograd, Kazan, Kaliningrad and Rostov-on-don.

Saint Petersburg took the 2nd place with its FIFA Fan Fest at Konyushennaya Square (Konyushennaya Ploschad`), which received 17% of the vote.

Moscow tops the list with the Vorobyovy Gory Fan Zone that won 19% of the vote.

On 3rd and 4th place are Nizhny Novgorod with a fan zone at Minin and Pozharsky Square and Samara with a fan zone at Kuibyshev Square –10% of the vote.

5-6 place – Ekaterinburg with the fan zone in Mayakovsky Central Park of Entertainment and Culture and Sochi with its fan zone in the South Mall of the Seaportort – 9% of the vote.

On 7 place is Volgograd with a fan zone on the 62nd Army Embankment – 7% of the vote.

8-10 place took Kazan with its fan zone at the Family Center Kazan, Kaliningrad with the fan zone at the Central Square and Rostov-on-Don with the fan zone at Theater Square – 6% of the vote.
