Visit Petersburg Office Opened in Dubai

On November 19, Visit Petersburg tourist office was opened in Dubai.The large press-conference was timed to the grand opening with the participation of Deputy Chairman of Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg Nana Gvichiya, CEO of the Plan B company group Harmeek Singh, acting CEO of City Tourist Information Bureau Nadezhda Petrova and the Head of the Visit Russia office in Dubai Marina Morozova.

As Nana Gvichiya noted, a lot of work was done to welcome tourists this year in St. Petersburg and the World Cup positively influenced the position of the Northern Capital on the international market. According to Deputy Chairman of Committee of Tourism Development, the presence of the Visit Petersburg office in Dubai will allow “not only to change the attitude to our country as place of unique experience, but also to give an opportunity to attract foreign investments and to promote St. Petersburg on the international level”.

Marina Morozova said that St. Petersburg is the most European city of Russia, and it needs the special attention.

Furthermore, Nadezhda Petrova expressed gratitude to Mr. Singh for the high standard, given by the creation of the Visit Petersburg office in Dubai.

In his speech, CEO of Plan B company group Harmeek Singh mentioned friendliness and sense of security he felt during the trip to Russia.

At the end of his speech, Harmeek Singh expressed confidence that St. Petersburg and Russia will become even closer to tourists and investors from Middle East with the opening the Visit Petersburg office in Dubai.
