He expressed appreciation to FCT residents for their support and partnership towards the milestones achieved by his administration in the passing year, just as he appealed for continued support for President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration in his resolve to take Nigeria, to the Next Level.
“We also use this occasion to convey our sincere appreciation to all residents for their partnership and sacrifices in all we accomplished last year. These includes city infrastructure and utilities, rail mass transport, satellite towns infrastructure and rural roads, health, education and lots more, all of which were achieved under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Your efforts and hard work have made the Abuja dream a reality. Today Abuja has become a leading investment, conference and tourism destination in West Africa.”
The minister stressed that Abuja’s strategic location in the heart of Nigeria and indeed, the heart of Africa and its rich hospitality culture and beautiful cityscape has made the territory the wise choice for business.
Bello also paid tribute to the founding fathers of the territory, noting that Abuja today has exceeded older states as the preferred destination for investment and tourism.
