Visit Petersburg Opens Office in Tokyo in Autumn

An agreement, dedicated to the opening of the new Visit Petersburg office in Tokyo, was signed by Acting Director General of St. Petersburg City Tourist Beraue Nadezhda Petrova and President of Japan Air Travel Marketing Co., Ltd (JATM) Dash Hada.

Visit Petersburg is a project aimed to provide the necessary information about the city to tourists and to promote St. Petersburg as a destination in the international tourism arena. Currently, 9 Visit Petersburg offices are opened in New Delhi, Hong Kong, Dubai, Tehran, Mumbai, Taipei, Rimini, Leipzig, and Paris.

'We are honoured to be the first platform for Visit Petersburg office in Japan, and we will do our best to introduce the sights and history of beautiful St. Petersburg to Japanese residents,’ said Dash Hada.

Japan Air Travel Marketing Co., Ltd has been working in the tourist services market for over 15 years, and has been accepting Russian tourists in Japan, assisting in air travel booking and ordering charter flights, and also providing visa support. In October 2018, JATM, as part of the IAJ group of companies, entered T-Life Holdings, which is placed 15th in the ranking of tour operators in Japan.

In 2018, more than 20 thousand Japanese tourists visited St. Petersburg.
