The moon of the Mid-Autumn Festival carries long-standing myths and legends and profound cultural connotations. At 7 o'clock on the evening of September 13th, on the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Mudanjiang City held the "Jihai Mid-Autumn Festival" in the Peony Square in the city, in order to inherit the traditional culture and ideological essence of the Chinese nation and to condense the emotional support of the Chinese people.

This event highlights the cultural theme of "Shenzhou Wanli Full Moon Night, Blessing the Great Mudanjiang", expressing the beautiful will of the Mudanjiang people to pray for reunion and pursue happiness.

On-site activity of "offering sacrifices to the moon" were also carried out to express the people's good wishes for "reunion of the moon and reunion of the people" in Mudanjiang with solemn ceremonies.
