Music square is located aside the Fushan Bay, a cultural recreational square with music as its theme, and is the largest musical square so far in China. The square has five functional areas: Tree Array District, Eccentricity Square and Soft Sculpture District, Oval-shaped Square District, Music Sea View Platform, and the underground Mall. The large-scale soft sculpture named “Sail of Music” is 20 meters high, under which piano-shaped instrument is set up for tourists to play.

The platform, overlooking the sea, is designed as an open music score, in which world famous melodies are stored, and under which the tourists can enjoy different music by stepping on the sensors. Ascending high to have a bird’s view of the square, you will find it like a beautiful scallop inlaying the seashore; the refined circumstance layout and music characteristics add more lasting appeal for the pleasant Seaside Scenic Area of Qingdao.
