As it has for decades, the Farmers Market at Third and Fairfax is celebrating the holidays with charming decorations, a rich variety of seasonal music, a Menorah lighting ceremony, and plenty of special entertainment for the whole family. Salvation army kettle kick-off (Nov 25, 2013)

On Monday, Nov. 25, the Farmers Market welcomes the holiday season with the annual Salvation Army Kettle Kick-Off Event, taking place from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the Market Plaza. Ring in the most wonderful time of the year with a fun and festive event that includes live music and sing-a-longs, tributes to civic and community service leaders, and the lighting of the Farmers Market Christmas Tree.

Hanukkah Celebration (Dec 1, 2013)

The Farmers Market presents a Hanukkah Celebration on Sunday, Dec 1, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The festivities include the building of giant Lego menorah, live music, crafts and a special menorah lighting ceremony.

Holiday Festivities (Dec 20-24, 2013)

From Dec 20-24, celebrate the season with Holiday Festivities at the Farmers Market - decked out in Yuletide finery - and enjoy traditional caroling, holiday arts and crafts, and live swing, jazz, and country/western bands playing all of your favorite Christmas tunes. Complete schedule TBA.
