Hakka Xinhua Village Tourism Region lies in the middle of a range of scenic mountains at Longquan, in Qingbaijiang District, Chengdu.

With convenient transportation, the scenic spot lies about 25 km from Chengdu's main urban area, and a distance of only 5 km from the Qingquan exit of the Shanghai-Chengdu (Chengdu-Nanchong) expressway.

"The mountains are full of apricot blossom that is white as snow, and a forest made up of tens of thousands of mu of apricot trees, making it look like an ocean of flowers".

As China's biggest planting base in the south of high quality apricots, the entire spot just looks like an ocean of blossoms and a world of fruits when summer arrives.

Hakka People value their own culture, pay attention to education, and live frugally, and such traditions are well kept at Xinhua Village. Hakka's stockaded villages, cultural corridor and Wenxin Pavilion demonsrate the Hakka folk culture to visitors.

Because the apricot is popular for its identity of The First Envoy of Spring, men of literature and writing left behind a number of poems through the ages about it. For instance: "A wave of water stays around blossoms, whose shadows are enchantingly beautiful, cramming in the spring."

The scenery of Xinhua Village is unique, from the half visible village in the clouds, the Apricot Lake that ripples, and the picturesque farming land. Visitors can also enjoy exercising in the mountains.
