The Living Water Garden is considered the first urban park to take water conservation as its theme. The garden clings to the riverside of the Fuhe River; the north part of the park and the amusement park face across the river, and the east part of the park meets the Meng Zhuiwan swimming pool.

Overall, the park occupies 2,400 square meters. It was designed in the shape of a fish, and it represents the dependent relationship between human beings, water and nature. Traditional Chinese gardens and Western modern art are fused together by the integrated design of the garden. The ground features an artificial wetland sewage disposal system. Underground, there is an environmental education center.

The garden is both educational and fun. Visitors can enjoy its urban garden style, sculpture, fountain, imitation Huanglong colored pool and dozens of aquatic plants. People can walk along the park from the fish head to the fish tail. The Living Water Garden has a graceful and elegant environment.

It is also a model for China’s environmental education. It had the honor of winning the Environment Design Award presented by the American Environment Design and Research Association and the Excellent Waterfront Award presented by the International Waterfront Center.
