Huanhua Stream Park draws on the rich history of western Sichuan culture by taking the historic and cultural Du Fu's thatched cottage as a background to apply modern garden and building design. It is an urban park that organically combines natural landscapes, urban landscapes, classical gardens and modern architectural art.

Mountains harmonize with the water among the shadows of plants and trees. Huanhuaxi Park consists of three scenic spots: Wanshu Mountain, Cang Lang Lake and an egret region. The Huanhua stream and a dry river flow through the park. Huanhua Stream Park is the largest open urban forest garden in Chengdu, vividly depicting the poetic charm of Du Fu.

View: Plum Garden, which is dominated by plum blossoms and bamboo planted in the water, sits in harmony with the bridges and green trees. Green Wave Lake is the largest artificial lake in Chengdu. All sizes of islands in the lake are connected with roads, and a landscape of lakes and mountains is full of poetic significance.

The Trees Garden is seen after entering the park from the “wind and rain gallery bridge.” The Huanhua stream and dry river are joined at the Ba Diao tea garden. This is the best place to enjoy the river scenery. Bamboo Plaza is a bamboo art leisure area, and western Sichuan cultural features are embodied with the traditional bamboo processing technology of Sichuan.

Glass houses made of fully tempered glass are located in the plaza. This is an excellent place for seeing stars at night. The egret region is ideal for viewing returning birds at sunset and admiring fish that jump from clear deep pools. This is a unique landscape in which human beings and animals can live in harmony. Egrets can be fed.

The park is open to visitors for free. The opening hours in winter are 6:30am-9:00pm every day.
