The epicenter of the "Summer of Love," Haight-Ashbury is a part of San Francisco that will always be loved. A bustling street full of independent businesses and cafes, come here to people-watch, shop for vintage clothes and walk in the footsteps of many of the rock gods.

Haight-Ashbury is famous for its tie-dyed, drug-infused, flower-power roots. In the '60s - particularly in the 1967 "Summer of Love" - the neighborhood became a haven for hippies and influential psychedelic rock performers. Though it still maintains a slightly gritty, Bohemian ambiance, it is now an eclectic mix of high-end boutiques; vintage clothing, book and record shops; hip restaurants and cafes; and beautifully restored Victorian homes.
