Airfield is a unique city farm located in Dundrum, Dublin – a 15min drive from the capital and at the foothills of South Dublin Mountains. From 1894 until 1993 it was the family home and working farm of the enterprising and generous Overend sisters, Letitia and Naomi, who left Airfield in trust in 1994. Airfield has recently re-opened to the public, following a 2 year renovation programme, with a newly developed farm and dairy, new food and ornamental gardens, café and heritage experience, offering visitors a wonderful opportunity to enjoy and learn about food, farming, gardens, growing, history and heritage in a natural and relaxed environment.
