Getting around using public transport

It’s very easy to explore Geneva by tram, bus and even by boat. The network UNIRESO is vast, efficient and fast.

Geneva’s public transport (TPG) network links bus, trams, some trains and the yellow taxi-boats of the Mouettes Genevoises that regularly cross to the other side of the lake.

Tickets are available at every stop in the city. The country buses have ticket machines on board.

Prepaid cards can be bought at the TPG agencies, the railway station’s ticket office and authorised retailers.
