Jiang’an Vehicle Factory, formerly the Jiang’an Machine Factory in the early 20th century, was the scene of the Two Seven Strike in 1923. Over 20,000 Beijing-Hankou Railway workers participated in the strike, which paralyzed the 1,200 km railway.

In 2005, the Jiang’an Vehicle Factory evolved into Yangtze River Vehicle composed of Jiang’an, Wuhan, Tongling, Qichang and Zhuzhou Vehicle Factories. Now Jiang’an Vehicle Factory workshop is the Two Seven Strike Memorial Hall.

Two Seven Strike relics can be found in the Jiang’an Vehicle Factory, Jiang’an Locomotive Depot and Jiang’an Station. These factories are adjacent to local tourist areas including the Former Site of Wuhan National Government, the Former Residence of Soong Ching-ling, Hanzheng Street.

Visitors can get there by Bus No.3, 4, 211, 212, 301, 305 or 508.
