Churin Bakery is the only Russian food store in Harbin with nearly one hundred years' history. Churin has been keeping the traditional baking skill, which is more different from modern bread baking techniques. Maybe it is one of the reasons for its popularities among the locals even some Russians, they even came to Harbin specailly for the Churin bread.

Churin bread is about five pounds in weight and is named as the “King of Bread” for its super size. It was called “Dalieba” by the locals, which actually means big bread in Russian. Dalieba is dry and crispy outside and soft inside, of a traditional European flavor. By the way, Lidaosi sausage is also one of Churin’s specialties.

Location: at the B1 floor of Churin Building, visitors can take bus No 7, 8, 10, 18 and 104 to the Churin Company stop.

Business hour: 9 am – 8 pm

Consumption per person:RMB 150 ($ 24.01)

Telephone number: 0086 451 53643355

Tips: Lidaosi sausage is very tasty and strongly recommended. Not only in Churin, Lidaosi sausage is available in every Lidaoshi Sausage stores. As concern to Dalieba, it’d better to buy before leaving for its very heavy, and it also better to steam it before eating for it’s very hard to chew.
