Prairie Stone City Resort is 40 kilometres away from Jimunai county in the Xinjiang Urgur autonomous region.

With its core area covering 67 square kilometers, the scenic area has different kinds of unique stones: such as a sitting Buddha, a creature with a face of a turtle but a body of a man, a snake reaching its head out, a general of the apes and oxen looking at each other. The stones resemble different creatures and thus attract visitors to stop and have a look. There is a cave within which is a spring. The spring is honored by the local herdsman as a “Magical Spring” because it never runs out of water. Paying tribute and taking water back has become a tradition for them.

Every June and July, the pink peonies, wild poppies and troll flowers will be in full blossom. Agaricus arvensis, not so commonly seen in other parts, can be found in the resort almost everywhere.

There is also a strange slope where it seems to be an upslope but actually descends. This makes the resort even more fun.
