Baisha Lake is 108 kilometers away from Habahe county. It has abundant forests made up of aspens. There are also reeds that extend from the lakeside to the center of the lake. There are three aspects of the lake that make it different from other lakes.

First, there is no water inlet in the lake. All the water to the lake comes from the bottom of the dessert. Second, every June, there are some lotuses from the lake that resemble sceneries of South China, characterized by abundance in water. Mingsha Megadune is next to Baisha Lake and consists of six megadunes, each of which is 2 kilometers long and between 100-200 meters wide. The comparative height is 25 meters. Its sand is white with grains of similar size.
