Latvian Puppet Theatre's repertory offers performances based on books by famous Latvian and foreign writers, world's most beautiful fairy tales, performances with kids' favourite literary heroes and plays based on contemporary literary works.

Latvian Puppet Theatre's repertory includes exciting, captivating and educating performances for kids as well as teenagers and adults. The theatre's actors, directors and artists collaborate with the world's leading puppet theatre experts on a regular basis.

Latvian Puppet Theatre offers performances not only at the theatre but also at various venues throughout Latvia. Performances at request are also available for groups.

Latvian Puppet Theatre is the only theatre in Latvia that has two permanent troupes - Latvian and Russian, therefore the theatre contributes to social integration in practice.

The theatre's lobby and cafe regularly host various exhibitions of works by students from Latvian art schools. On special occasions, spectators can participate in events featuring performances by popular Latvian children's dance and vocal groups.

On the second floor of the theatre building, the Puppet Theatre Museum informs about the history of the theatre and the most famous performances since its establishment in 1944.

The theatre also offers excursions of the theatre building, during which time tour participants are informed about the history of the building, the backstage and workshops, where puppets are made.
