Athletes from all districts of Latvia will meet during the country's largest national sporting event to prove themselves in 10 individual and team winter sport disciplines. The Olympiad, with its opening ceremony, the lighting of the Olympic torch and competitions in skiing, snowboarding, luge and bobsled, will be headquartered in Sigulda; however, competitions in other sports disciplines will also take place in other locations in Latvia.
