hidden museum highlights works by forgotten female artists and supports new and interesting ‘female’ art. The non-profit organisation lovingly collects and displays scattered, long forgotten pieces of art.
Here is where the works of women painters, photographers, sculptors and architects find recognition and are presented in connection with the real life stories of these women. This concept of only showing female art is to date completely unique world-wide. Previous exhibitions featured mainly 20th century artists, some of whom were shown for the very first time here after World War II. The museum is open only during exhibition times.
