Finland has dropped all COVID-19 restrictions on inbound travellers.

People travelling to Finland are no longer required to present a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination from 1 July.

Entry requirements for Finland are the same for all travellers, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, according to updated Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) travel advice.

"You don't need to provide proof of your vaccination status for entry to Finland," there FCDO said.

"Entry requirements for Finland are the same for all travellers, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status."

However, the FCDO added:"No travel is risk-free during COVID. Countries may further restrict travel or bring in new rules at short notice, for example due to a new COVID-19 variant.

"Check with your travel company or airline for any transport changes which may delay your journey home.

"If you test positive for COVID-19 in Finland, you will receive instructions from the Finnish authorities and will be asked to self-isolate. You may also need to seek treatment there."
