Recently, at the 5th Dong Luxury Travel Connection Roadshow, Tourism Fiji won the professional award of "Best Tourism Destination Promoter" for its remarkable achievements in destination promotion since the pandemic, becoming the first overseas national tourism bureau to win this honor.
As a well-known domestic luxury travel service provider, Dong Luxury Travel Connection boasts 70 luxury travel agencies and more than 300 members. Its member service providers focus on high-end tourism, customized leisure and holiday travel experiences, providing tourists with the best journey advice, luxury accommodation recommendations, high-end considerate services, and exclusive treatment. The voting members for this year's award were all well-known travel agency members of Dong Luxury Travel Connection, making it one of the most authoritative awards for luxury travel in China.
Besides, Tourism Fiji was also invited to participate in the forum themed "Future Development of High-end Customized Tourism." Group discussions and roundtable meetings were held to deeply explore the development of China's high-end customized tourism in the post-pandemic era, and further promote new thinking about the development paths of high-end customized tourism and new opportunities under the "new normal of tourism." Meanwhile, Tourism Fiji conducted one-to-one exchanges with 60 Chinese high-end tourism entities, introducing the resources of numerous luxury hotels in Fiji and abundant local activities to travel agencies, so as to make full preparations for the day when China opens up its borders for outbound tourism.
