【Introduction】：Prague Hamburg Rowing Race is a new race for eights with a distance of 850km. The race will start under the Charles Bridge in Prague during the night of September 29.

Prague Hamburg Rowing Race is a new race for eights with a distance of 850km. The race will start under the Charles Bridge in Prague during the night of September 29. Then, twelve other races will be held in Czech and German cities. The final race will take place in Hamburg, Germany on October 13. Thanks to its distance it will be one of the extremist rowing races in the world. Twenty teams will have a chance to win the crystal cup. As a part of this event, competitions for public will be held too – one for athletes, second on for amateurs. An accompanying programme is also prepared. During the first race in Prague, visitors will have a unique chance to observe the race on special pontoons on the Vltava River.

There will be also stages with popular bands and singers. Racers will have a chance to win The Mayor of Prague 1’s Sword.
