The latest figures showed that there was an increase in the number of international green fees booked by 40 per cent in the last three years. Italy has been the number one destination for travellers in 2018.

The country's golf tourism was experiencing a boom as players were keen on experiencing the European golf tourism.

Italy will be hosting the Ryder Cup for the first time in 2022, the momentum continues to grow ahead of it and the number of rounds played by the international golfers rose by 200,000 between 2014 and 2017.
