Africa's Beauty Cape Verde is Now Safe for the Tourists

Cape Verde Tourism is on rise as many want to go such a place of less population but filled with the natural beauty and the fun loving attractions like trekking and hiking. Previously, Cape Verde's tourism was deeply affected by the spreading of Zika Virus, but now with the control of the government, this place is now the best bet for the tourists.

Cape Verde, a volcanic nation in Africa located in the North West coast is now attracting the tourists for the mesmerizing beauty of imposing volcanic mountain ranges and stunning experiences.

The main leisure activities in the archipelago revolve around windsurfing, diving, sailing and trekking.

Sal welcomes the largest intake of tourists with around 45.6% of the total hotel entries, followed by Boa Vista with 31.6%.

The Cape Verdean culture of Creole Portuguese-African origin is one of the many reasons why thousands of international and national tourists choose these islands off the North West coast of Africa as their holiday destination every year.

While on the contrary, Santiago is the largest island attracts huge amount of tourists. The current capital, Praia, and the historic capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cidade Velha also attract the greatest numbers of visitors.

The official language of Cape Verde spoken by the 540,000 or so Cape Verdean residents is Portuguese, and the official currency is the Cape Verdean escudo.
