【Introduction】:On July 29, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 105 new cases of confirmed infections (3 imported cases, 1 in Guangdong province, 1 in Yunnan province and 1 in Shaanxi province; 102 indigenous cases, 96 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 5 in Liaoning province and 1 in Beijing municipality), 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai municipality), and no deaths.
On July 29, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 105 new cases of confirmed infections (3 imported cases, 1 in Guangdong province, 1 in Yunnan province and 1 in Shaanxi province; 102 indigenous cases, 96 in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, 5 in Liaoning province and 1 in Beijing municipality), 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai municipality), and no deaths. 13 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 584 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. Serious cases increased by 8.
As of 24:00 on July 29, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 2,059 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 1,981 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 78 confirmed cases (including 2 in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on July 29, the National Health Commission had received reports of 84,165 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 78,957 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 574 confirmed cases (including 33 cases in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases. 786,957 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 18,353 were still under medical observation.
On July 29, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 21 new asymptomatic cases (including 1 imported case). 2 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (both were imported cases) and 12 cases became confirmed cases (all were indigenous cases). As of 24:00 on July 29, 280 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 90 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on July 29, 3,515 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 3,002 in Hong Kong (24 had died and 1,591 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 467 in Taiwan (7 had died and 440 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
