Hong Kong Airlines, an internationally acclaimed full-service airline, held the “Triumph Sky High” Junior Programme during summer holidays exclusively for child passengers who have successfully enrolled through the “Sweeten You Up” in-flight service program.
The aviation experience tour started with a visit to Hong Kong Airlines’ check-in counter at the Hong Kong International Airport. Participants were brought behind the scenes the daily operation of ground services. Travelling by the airport’s Automated People Mover, they reached the newly built Midfield Concourse and went onboard a Hong Kong Airlines A330 aircraft where captains and cabin crew shared their aviation knowledge and flight experiences with the kids. They also learnt the structure of cockpit and cabin, experienced Business Class facilities and tried on life jackets. One of the participants was surprised by the birthday celebration organized by captains and cabin crew.
Hong Kong Airlines inflight service “Sweeten You Up”, offering newlyweds or couples celebrating their anniversaries, birthday and children passengers to experience a sweet and enjoyable journey with their beloved in the sky. The service was upgraded in August 2016 with “Happy Angels” assigned on each flight to provide extra care to kids, ensuring a carefree journey for parents.
