Mastercard Platinum, World and World Elite cardholders can now travel with greater peace of mind following the launch of Mastercard Flight Delay Pass1 by Mastercard in partnership with Collinson Group.
The first-of-its-kind program in the region, Mastercard Flight Delay Pass provides cardholders, and their travel companions, with complimentary access to over 850 LoungeKeyTM airport lounges around the world, should their flight be delayed by two hours or more2. This privilege is exclusive to Mastercard cardholders who have purchased their flight ticket with their Mastercard, regardless of the airline they fly, the ticket they hold or the affinity program they are members of. Cardholders need not hold a separate membership to avail the privilege.
Jenn Ong, Head of Consumer Credit, Asia Pacific, Mastercard, said, “Whether it’s agonizing over missing a flight leg, or feeling lost at an unfamiliar airport, plane delays can certainly sour a trip. Our travel privileges are designed not only to help cardholders maximize what they value most: time, connection and experiences, but also provide them with peace of mind, whenever and wherever they are. As such, we seek to help travelers make the most of their time at the airport too.”
To be eligible for a complimentary lounge pass, Mastercard cardholders are required to register their flight details at least six hours prior to scheduled departure. Cardholders may register up to 2 flights per eligible card during the period of this benefit3.
Cardholders can register their flight here news.mstr.cd/2AiHWMm. Full details of the program, including how to find more information on the various lounges, can be found here https://flightdelaypass.mastercard.com/faq
